When Should You Not Take Plaquenil?

Do not take Plaquenil if you:

  • Are taking Tamoxifen (medicine to treat breast cancer). Both Plaquenil and Tamoxifen can individually cause damage to retina. Taking both drugs at the same time can increase the risk of damage.
